First released in 2012, the Rolex Sky-Dweller is a watch for travellers, featuring an annual calendar and dual time zone function. The Saros annual calendar indicates the month of the year through apertures above the hour indices with the current month highlighted in red. Requiring one adjustment a year on the 1st of March following the 28 or 29 days of February, this incredible calendar knows the 30 or 31 days of the other months.
The second time zone is displayed simultaneously with local time. The second time zone is displayed via a red triangle indicator pointing to the disc displayed to the centre of the dial. The date change always corresponds to the local time.
A system of interaction between the rotatable fluted bezel, the winding crown and the movement, developed by Rolex, the Ring Command allows, on the Sky-Dweller, effortless selection of the function to be set: date and month, local time or reference time.
